Hello,  !Even though most of my work here is digital, I actually enjoy writing more than any other kind of art. I've planned on writing for a living since I was in elementary school, but I have no idea yet as to what kind of media I want to work with. (Movies, books, video game concepts? Maybe all of those things at once? Or none of them since the chances of making it in those fields are so slim.) Um...I also love music. I live with nine guitars (acoustic, jazz, electric, bass, silent, twelve-string, classical), four harmonicas, two keyboards, two snare drums, a piano, a violin, a double bass, a trombone, countless recorders, and a tortoise. Only the string bass belongs to me, though D: I'm teaching myself the piano but right now I'm still at the boring chords-and-melodies stage and I'm not very good at playing different rhythms on different hands unless it's just like eighth notes with a melody. But I digress! Obviously I still have a long way to go before I'm any good at any of these things. Until then, I'll also spend my time baking, biking, making no sense, daydreaming, and wasting your time with this ID. |

Ichigo and his pimping buds just met Nel and such.
Anyway
The arrancar sound like shit. Their voices are just Generic and it's hard to comment on them. Ulquiorra sounded emo I think, and all of the guys sounded too young/whiney. Hallibel is as generic as can be.
Nel's voice is annoying and she sounds too old. Sometimes she sounds like a typical dumb broad joe-quimby's-slut voice, but sometimes she sounds like a gremlin. She doesn't sound cute at all and it just feels wrong.
Instead of having a lisp she, twice, says "Itsago" [eetsahgo].
She reminds me of Ed from CowboyBebop except she sucks.
Her 'brothers' also sound like ass. One sounds like a terrible Rocky impersonation on crack, and the other is so generic it's unbelievable. Like he's John Johnson, Mr. 25-year-old caucasian american male.
Also whoever translates the script must be on drugs. It seems especially bad for chad. Compared to his speech in Jap- Sometimes he talks longer than the original lines and sometimes he under-talks and just says some random ".....uoh!"
Of course there are plenty of crack-lines that make absolutely no sense because the translaters change/omit them for-absolutely-no-reason-other-than-their-stupidity. The best part though is that occasionally, Ichigo seems to have self-aware lines where he is complaining that what somebody is saying has no relevance or just doesn't make sense in general.
